About

An engineer's notes on AI, side projects and actually shipping.

Hi, I'm Nader. I'm a software engineer, and after hours I build side projects. Some ship, some don't, and both teach me something.

This site is where I write that down: how I use AI in real work and where it lets me down, the engineering decisions behind the things I build, and what it actually takes to ship something beside a day job. Since the end of 2025 I haven't written code by hand; I decide, review and ship, and agents do the typing. A lot of what I write is about what that changes.

Right now I'm building Relnk, a writing studio for people who publish to grow their business, so you'll also hear about writing and building a product for writers. When I move on to the next thing, the writing comes with me.

One essay a week, also sent by email through the newsletter. No hype, no "10 AI prompts that will change your life". I'm on X most days; replies are the best way to reach me.

I live in Dubai.
